Biofeedback

Biofeedback is a noninvasive training.

Biofeedback uses a computer aided monitoring device to measure and feed back to you a continuous stream of physiological information such as muscle activity, skin temperature, respiratory rate, heart function and brainwaves for the purpose of improving health or performance. Being able to see or hear this continuous information allows you and the trainer to explore how you can consciously change the level of activity, such as learning to lower muscle tension. This can be helpful if you are experiencing chronic tension headaches. Being able to monitor forehead and neck tension allows you to explore a variety of ways to relax these muscles. Once you have found technique’s that work for you with a bit of practice you will be able to allow the muscles to relax more of the time resulting in fewer headaches. With practice the changes will last.
